Fighting Professors
Introduction
- Science lovers embrace scientific breakthroughs.
- Those that do science for cash fight tooth and nail to maintain the status quo.
- If a scientist claims to have a theory or see something, then they should be able to
(a) show it to others in real life, or
(b) show it in a functional experiment that demonstrates to others what it is that they see and how it relates to real life or,
(c) show it by means of mathematics relating to a real-life situation, that everybody can see and understand based on the mathematics presented.
If it does not relate to real life, then it is not science.
Clarification:
In the Previous Article titled “Time-Is-Universal”, the drawing of figure 4 is:
Not an arrow of time
Not a second arrow of time
Not a third arrow of time
Not a theory of everything, and
Not pizza.
Some physics professors have started fighting like second grade children just to maintain the old wisdom that does not serve humanity anymore.
One of them went a little too far. Hosted on a youtube.com podcast late June 2024, he presented a related video. In the video, he mistook longitudes and latitudes on the drawing of Fig 2 that represented the Earth to be the space-time he is familiar with. He replicated it by drawing a similar spherical object alongside a flat object with square demarcations. In the same video, he drew something that looks like pizza (pepperoni and cheese), placing some graphs besides it and referring to it as the theory of everything! He started naming some of the pepperoni chips as dark matter, dark energy etc !
Not stopping there, he revisited some of his old videos on youtube.com and replaced his own introductory picture with the pizza! Was the purpose of this to backdate the pizza drawing? Haven Have Mercy on this planet.
To reiterate, the drawing of Fig 2 in the Time-Is-Universal article, shows 24 longitudes on earth used for time zones in addition to latitudes, and has nothing to do with space-time. There is no such thing as space-time.
Similarly, the drawing of Fig 4 in the same article is not an arrow of time. It only demonstrates that time runs independently and uniformly on all planets, stars, galaxies and quantum particles, and sweeps an angle of 15 degrees every hour on each of those bodies clarifying that time dilation introduced to physics under special relativity is a user configuration error.
Further, the article as a whole demonstrated that time and gravity are two distinct and unrelated quantities.
